Agricultural exports to Italy currently stand at $90 million, the Italian Ambassador to Cairo said yesterday.
The first shipment of Egyptian grapes will be arriving in Italy next Sunday, Italian Ambassador Antonio Badini added.
“The grape consignment will be the first one of produce through the Green Corridor, which links Egyptian and Italian ports and facilitates access for Egyptian produce to Western European markets”, Badini told a seminar on Egyptian-Italian agricultural cooperation.
